Robert Munsch is our favorite author. We have read many of his books. Read them if you want to enjoy a good laugh!
Robert Munsch is known for his manic storytelling methods, with exaggerated expressions and acted voices. He makes up his stories in front of audiences and refines them through repeated tellings. He has said "It takes 200 tellings for a story to get good."
Stephanie's Ponytail by Robert Munsch is a story is about a girl who wants a ponytail all different ways her head. She would like one out the back of her head,
on top of her head, coming out the side of her head and one even in front of her face! All of the girls and even the boys copy her and she calls them all a bunch of brainless copy cats! One day she tricks them. Read "Stephanie's Ponytail" to find
out how Stephanie tricks her classmates.
David's father is about a little boy named David that has a giant for a father. A little girl wants to be his friend until she meets his father.
Read the story to find out if the little girl sticks around to be his friend.
